I'm a human who likes other humans. I'm also a writer, director, producer, and actor who's created and appeared in videos for MTV, IFC, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, CollegeHumor, Above Average, Vox Media, Glamour, Refinery29, and more.
My most recent short film, "Lucia, Before and After", premiered at Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Jury Prize for US Fiction. It is also an official selection of SXSW, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, and Washington DC International Film Festival. Lucia was made as part of Refinery29's Shatterbox Anthology series.
My short film, "Drifters", was a Special Jury Mention for Narrative Shorts at New Orleans Festival, and won Best Experimental Short at Aesthetica Short Film Festival. It premiered online on filmmaker Kentucker Audley's NoBudge.com and was a featured on Vimeo's Deep Vimeo channel. The short and my work was recently featured in France's biennial CineWomen Cahiers magazine.
My student thesis film, "Figs", was a Student Academy Award Semifinalist, a National Board of Review Grant Finalist, and an NYU Wasserman Award Finalist. Figs screened at the Torino Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, and Directors Guild of America.
As an actor, I've starred in MTV's late night show, The Middle of The Night Show, and had guest spots on TruTV's Friends of The People and A&E's Unforgettable. I've appeared in numerous videos for CollegeHumor, Above Average, MTV(other), Refinery29, Glamour, and more. I can also be seen in the upcoming film "Village People", directed by Paul Briganti and starring Aya Cash, George Basil, and Brandon Scott.
I am a 2017 artist resident of SPACE on Ryder Farm, as well as an ambassador for the American Film Showcase, a United States film diplomacy program promoting arts involvement and education abroad.
